- Prep: Remove all furniture, decor and objects from the deck
- Wet Landscaping: With a garden hose wet the landscaping around the deck before and after application. This is important because there is biological growth on the landscaping that you don’t want to damage
- Sweep: Sweep the deck to free loose debris and rinse off any heavily soiled areas.
- Dry: Allow the deck to dry (damp is ok)
- Prepare Citra-Shield Solution: Mix Citra-Shield 5:1 (5 parts water 1 part Citra-Shield). If you are using our Ready to use Citrashield simple pour Citra-Shield Ready to use in a pump sprayer.
- Apply Citra-Shield Solution: Citra-Shield can be applied with a simple garden sprayer, backpack sprayer or any other spray applicator. Apply Citra-Shield liberally until the deck is wet.
